Who of us is not in need of love? But how many of us have found fulfilling love? More books, poems, songs and odes have been written about love than any other subject. Yet, love still eludes us (maybe that's why so much is written about the subject). Cynics say about love that "you can't live without it, and you can't live with it." Where does that leave us?

Love is as indispensable to life as water. Without it we wither and die (inside). But how do we discover healthy love? Does love just come naturally to some people, or is it an art that can be learned? Is love about taking or about giving? What should we be pursuing: loving or being loved? How much of love between people is connected to loving (or not loving) yourself? If our parents were poor models of love, are we doomed?

Every month has its energy. The new Hebrew month, which begins tonight, is the month of love: Elul is an acronym for "Ani l'dodi v'dodi li," "I am to my beloved and my beloved is to me." During this time new channels open up allowing us to access new skills, new opportunities, new courage -- to love and be loved.

Wouldn't it be nice to have, once and for all, a blunt, direct and informed conversation on this thing called "love"? Here is you chance...

Join Rabbi Jacobson as he candidly discusses, in his inimitable unplugged style, the mystique of love, the self-destructive things we do to undermine our own love and ways that we can uncover hidden, unconscious resources that we all carry within that allow us to love and be loved. Come discover a few secrets about relationships -- and a new way to look at yourself and the way you love and are loved.
