The chorus of high-pitched sounds from spring peeper frogs could be heard in the direction of our goldfish ponds after dusk at Hidden Hollows in early March, 2011. I grabbed my video camera to record the deafening noise, which is barely tolerable even now when played back. To calm nerves and restore sanity, halfway through this video I inserted serene, quiet meadow scenes and reflections in the ponds during an early morning sunrise.
