The Democratic Republic of Congo - the DRC will see General elections next month on 23 December. These are historic as they will determine a successor to incumbent President Joseph Kabila who has been in power since 2001. The elections were originally scheduled for November 2016 but were delayed with a broken promise to hold them by the end of 2017. The road to these elections has not been an easy one often marred by violence. Joining me now is a woman who will be involved in the elections running as a candidate Governor. She is the Deputy President of the M17 party Ms. Kuku Itambo. For more news, visit: sabcnews.com
