One of the most popular GAA events in the Middle East saw a superb day of football at the Bahrain Festival and some surprises. Sharjah Gaels caused a major upset in the Ladies Senior Cup Final by defeating Abu Dhabi, but the mens team from Abu Dhabi reversed the result in their Final. Lisa McGreal (Mayo) and Aine Higgins (Galway) from Sharjah feature on this video report, while Dubliner Ronan McGinty reacts to the Abu Dhabi victory. Donegal woman Alana McConalogue gave a star performance on and off the field of play, scoring goals for host club Arabian Celts to win the Intermediate Cup and also overseeing a well-run event as Chairperson of the club.
