Can we really surprise God? Aristo used those words more than halfway through his talk; and Ron chose them as the title. The phrase: I am, expresses the essence of meaning. Existence is not neutral and we must trust our true sense of being. We, those of us who live by the natural order of things, are connected to the web of life, which is not true for psychopaths. Because they, the psychopaths, are in denial of their shadow, they are unconscious; and evolution requires conscious mutation – in other words, participation in the process. To grow, we must face the shadow and take responsibility for it. For those who aspire to something more, God makes time and a way; after all, we are on the timeline of transformation. We have the motive, the means and the opportunity to find all the solutions we need. All we need is valor, and attribute of the heart from which true hope is generated, even in despair. We just need to be genuine humans and surprise God.
