Infineon offers their TLE5014 easy-to-use magnetic angle sensors. These sensors, which come pre-configured and pre-calibrated as plug-and-play devices, are based on the giant magneto resistance principle. Users can choose between the interfaces of PWM, SPC, and SENT. Features of these sensors include a 360-degree angle measurement capacity, a high voltage—up to 26 volts—and reverse polarity capability, an EEPROM for storage of configuration and customer specific identification, a 12-bit representation of absolute angle value on the output, and an extremely small angle error of less than 1 degree across the entire temperature profile and lifetime. Single die and dual die versions are available.
