In my opinion this stretch of Egypt is the most beautiful in terms of pure geography. As you drive along the lush banks of the Nile you can see the desolate cliffs in  the background. The contrast between the life of the Nile and the stark desert beyond is driven home forcefully. This footage was recorded June 12, 2012.
