Now there is a technicality... Yes the engine did make 70 psi of compression by the time the piston reached TDC, however this engine will not hold much compression. Using a different gauge set up I checked the leak down of the cylinder. It took approx. 5 seconds for the pressure to diminish to 30 psi. My hopes are still that these problems will improve with some run time.
