Treasurer and Deputy Prime Minister Charles Abel, says the supplementary budget is necessary to help adjustments captured in the 100 Day Plan.

Minister Abel says the supplementary budget will be tabled in Parliament this month, and will focus on expenditures despite the current challenging global economic situation. 

Mr. Abel made this statement after a meeting with Governors of Provinces in Port Moresby yesterday.
