Following a +1 Million pound injection of Lottery funds, English Heritage is reviving one of Britain's largest 'secret gardens' - Wrest Park. With 90-acres of gardens, grounds and wooded areas, a grand French-style mansion. The grounds are full of buildings, pavilions, water features and statues. I particularly like the Orangery building. The newly opened visitor centre with canteen and facilities includes a play area. This has all been discretely tucked away in one of the walled gardens.
