Agriculture-based landowner group Laka Forest Limited recently presented 15 boats to ease transport difficulties for people at the furthest end of Namatanai District in the New Ireland Province. The lack of proper roads and bridges has left communities no choice but to use sea transport for health services, to conduct church programs, and support schools in logistics. Laka Chief Executive, Walter Schnaubelt, visited Kandas and Weitin villlages to deliver the boats and engines. - visit us at http://www.emtv.com.pg/ for the latest news...
