KETTERING -- A little girl, struggling to beat an acute form of cancer, is determined to find a cure so other children don't have to suffer.  And Kayleigh Crabtree, 10, wants you to help her.    It was August of 2010 that changed the lives of the Crabtree family forever."We had taken her to the doctor for leg pain.  We thought she had injured herself on a slip-n-slide," said Kayleigh's mom, Michelle Crabtree. But a few days later Michelle got a call from then 8-year-old Kayleigh's doctor.  Michelle discovered her oldest child had Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia."Panic struck," Michelle said.  "Still today when I re-live that.  You don't want your child to have to go through cancer.""(It's been) scary and rough but we've made it this far and I'm very happy about that," Kayleigh said.Kayleigh has been coming to Dayton Children's Hospital for chemotherapy for the past two years.  It's been a long hard road, but one that is soon going to be over this fall.  Kayleigh told ABC 22/FOX 45 reporter Liza Danver about the most difficult part of treatment."Having to do things differently than other kids and not being able to do things that other kids can do my age... like soccer," she said.Kayleigh has been able to do Zumba with her mom and sisters though.  That's where the idea came from to hold a Zumbathon to raise money for children's cancer research."She's done so good.  We're so proud of her.  Her strength has made us all very strong," said Michelle.Already more than a hundred people have signed up to Zumba with Kayleigh this weekend, which is cause for the 10-year-old to reflect on what she's achieved."Happy that I'm alive," Kayleigh said. The Zumbathon to benefit CURESearch for Children's Cancer Research is Saturday June 16th from noon until 2pm at the Orbit Fun Center on Nat the orbit fun center on Nebraska Avenue in Dayton.  It's a 0 donation for adults and for kids.
