Seasick Soul Seasick Soul is a collaboration between Spoken Word Artists; Jaden Larker (Seasick Fist) and Amerah Saleh (Soul Poet). Two young performers from very different ethnicities, but with one unified voice. They come together to write and perform pieces about important social and political issues, approaching them from a humanitarian perspective. Acting as a mouth piece for those whose voices can't be heard, but need hearing. Through their work they aim to raise awareness of injustices both local and global, through a perspective not perpetuated by the media. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
