Product Info: Coop Scatter Dodgeball, from Swimways, comes with one sting-proof dodgeball, one giant foam die, and 12 colored wristbands. Scatter Dodgeball is for 2 or more players, ages 5+. Scatter Dodgeball is a fun twist on the classic playground game of dodgeball. There is still plenty of dodging, throwing and catching, but this version has a few added accessories and rules, to make the game a little more fun. At the beginning of the game, each player chooses a pair of wristbands. Players circle around the dodgeball and one player rolls the die. If your wristband matches the color on the die, pick up the dodgeball and start throwing. If you hit someone, take one of their wristbands. If they catch your throw, you must give them one of your wristbands. The first player to collect all the wristbands, wins. I recommend a "no headhunting" rule. Yes, the foam ball is soft and sting-free, but personally, I'm a fan of good sportsmanship - especially when young children are involved. The gameplay is simple and you can be playing within minutes of opening the box. Scatter Dodgeball is a great spin on the classic, and whole lot of fun.
