Second part of the Phantom Train! We have to defeat the train itself also! I generally just have Shadow throw Shurikens, Sabin Raging Fist, and Cyan use the first Bushido technique.

Also not shown is our arriving on the Veldt, purchase of Dried Meat from Maranda, and we can feed it to Gau on the Veldt for him to join us. He shows us how to use the breathing device to let us use Serpent Trench. We take the Nikeah ship back to South Figaro, heading toward Narshe. 

Next is one of my favorite parts, defending the Esper from Kefka!

I won't show this but the Terra/Edgar/Banon quest is very easy, you just head back to Narshe. It's the quickest of the quests.
