Exactly a month ago, we witnessed a horrific event in Manchester, where 22 people lost their lives. It was the most shocking event I've ever experienced in my life so far, even more so knowing that I went to pick my mum up from city centre and we drove right past the arena within an hour of the explosion.

Two weeks later we heard of the attacks in London, but something positive that's come out of these events is the response from the community both down south and here up north. This bike ride was organised in response to these events, to show solidarity, and to show that together we can overcome any damages done by these cowards.
