"Flim Flam Man", a locally written movie is about to get the greenlight with an A-list cast and director to shoot in Minnesota according to Lucinda Winter, executive director of the Minnesota Film and TV Board. With a tax break for movie makers, Winter says she can attract more movie productions like this which will have twice the budget of "A Serious Man" a movie produced by Twin Cities natives the Cohen Brothers. The chairman of the House tax committee, Representative Greg Davids (R-Preston) is backing such a tax break, which causes Representative Ryan Winkler (DFL-Golden Valley) to question why Republicans are advocating the government try to influence the free market. Representative Davids draws a round of laughter when he replies "if your looking for consistency, please don't look at me."
