New expressway to open to traffic in SW China

With a designed speed of 80 kph, a new expressway will cut travel time from 3 hours to 40 minutes from Wanzhou in southwest China's Chongqing to central Chinese city of Lichuan. This corridor is expected to boost cooperation among cities in western China.
