Long time ago I wanted to make a Electronic DC-Load. You can get DC loads cheap these days, but I'd wanted to make one with a bit more presission components.. Scullcom Hobby Electronics' DC-load uses high precision parts. I made a small number of changes to make it fit iin a smaller box, and I took out the keypad. To do that I need to rewrite the firmware.
