May 28 -- The decision to reintroduce special SAPS units to deal with crimes against children is having a noticeable impact.  Police say at least 175 life sentences have been handed down in the past two years for child abuse and crimes directed at children.  But now the units are facing a new challenge as criminals are targeting disabled children.
