Olēka is the new alter ego of the already well-known Bosnia & Hercegovina-based DJ/Producer Forest People! In a very short time, Olēka has affirmed himself as a new powerhouse in today's techno scene, and has produced releases for world-renowned labels like Planet Rhythm, Genesa, Power Vacuum, Mindcut, Dakfloor, and Newrhythmic. This moniker emphasizes the more industrial, and distorted side of techno. Recognizable by his originality and style, Olēka is the bright future of the genre. Many good things are to come from this artist, like this release on Variance. We have been excited to present this release since we received the demos, when aren't we? That is bedsides the point. Olēka has provided quite a formidable collection of tracks for this release, four tracks that will make you go deranged due to the rapturous harmonic noise of this superbly executed EP. All four tracks are their own special piece, though the EP is incomplete with one of them missing. We here at variance fee few words are necessary regarding this release, it's phenomenal modern techno, precision producing and to the point destructive sounds, no nonsense here, just great electronic music, timeless.
