We set out to find the reason he's refused to shave or trim it for the last 6 months. It turns out, he's waiting on approval for a new protocol but since it's been much longer than he expected, his team asked what they could do to speed up the beard removal process. The answer - raise $10,000 for families of patients in the Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute at Cincinnati Children's. They have until Sept. 6, 2011.
