US Official Alarmed by Ties Between Al-Qaida and Taliban

The chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Mike Mullen, is expressing concern about growing ties between Afghan and Pakistani Taliban and al-Qaida. In testimony before Congress, Admiral Mullen said if the Taliban is allowed take over Afghanistan, al-Qaida could follow. VOA's Deborah Tate reports from Capitol Hill.
