The family of the youth, who was killed on Monday in the violence that erupted in Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr, has refused to conduct his final rites until the state government assures monetary compensation and job for a family member. A police inspector and a youth, Sumit, were killed as a mob protesting over illegal cow slaughter went on a rampage torching a police post and clashing with police, which opened fire. Sumit suffered bullet injury in shots fired by unidentified assailants and succumbed to his injuries.
