A dramatic video has emerged from Canada capturing the moment a man spotted a tornado from his front door in Angus, Ontario.

The tornado touched down in the town just after 5pm on Tuesday causing damage to hundreds of properties.

The filmer can be heard shouting "tornado" to warn his neighbours  who had not yet noticed the approaching twister.

The yelling "Tornado" is at 2 of my neighbours across the street that had not noticed it yet. Which I don't know how because the sound of the wind as it started was like nothing else I have ever heard.
