"Then and Now: Computer Graphics in Games" In 2004, Will Wright (The Sims and Sim City), Jordan Mechner (Prince of Persia), and Rand Miller (Myst), were asked to participate in a panel about the state of real-time graphics, and what they think will happen once limitations are largely lifted. One interesting thing is that Will Wright speaks about the future of procedural generation of art years before Spore was announced, and a decade before games like No Man's Sky. At around 14 minutes in, Will Wright also talks about wanting games that let the players build the whole world, years before Minecraft. Jordan Mechner also talks at the end about Virtual Reality, and how it might differ from games we have now. http://www.nvidia.com/object/IO_13824.html
