Get the TABS, Access the On-Screen TAB Viewer, & Download the Jam Tracks at: https://rockclass101.com/rockin-robin-u-bass-tutorial/ ---- A classic 60’s hit; learn a melodic bass line that you can play over a full band backing track! This piece is a great study for the intermediate player, as your focus is on playing changes while grooving in the pocket. Playing “changes” means to play the notes that match the chord being used at the time; this concept (taught with an ukulele focus in our course: An Introduction to Music Theory & Jamming [Course Link Below]) is what makes the bass line sound so melodic. One last tip: Keep in mind that the rhythm is swung [Swung Rhythm Lesson Link Below] throughout the entire piece. ---- EXTRA HELPFUL LESSONS An Introduction to Music Theory & Jamming (A Complete Course): https://rockclass101.com/introduction-music-theory-jamming/ Understand Rhythmic Notation & Counting: https://rockclass101.com/understanding-rhythmic-notation-ukulele/ Learn the Difference Between Swung & Straight 8th Note Rhythm: https://rockclass101.com/swung-vs-straight-rhythm/ Learn "Rockin' Robin" on Ukulele: https://rockclass101.com/rockin-robin/
