The heat wave continues as Bakersfield climbs to 104 this afternoon with more bad air quality due to the wildfire smoke filling into Kern County from the wildfires burning to the north. The smoke is most concentrated in the Kern River Valley where Lake Isabella and Kernville will once again top out in the triple digits today. In the south mountains we'll have a high of 92 in Tehachapi this afternoon and 89 in Frazier Park.
