Newshub's Kate Rodger interviews Kiwi filmmakers Sir Peter Jackson and Christian Rivers ahead of the release of their film, Mortal Engines.

Jackson and Rivers have worked together for decades. As it turns out, it all started with a letter - which was the first bit of fan mail the Braindead and Lord of the Rings filmmaker ever received. 

In the interview they also discuss what makes New Zealand fillmakers different and the production of Mortal Engines.
