The cobra braid was one of my favorite stitches I learned as a child. My siblings and I attend summer camp in Canarsie, Brooklyn New York. Art and crafts was something we did each day. We learned how to make friendship bracelets and often worked with lanyards. I wanted to recreate the cobra on Anastasia's curly biracial hair.
