Kaylie Meehan, Grandpa Floyd Left Big Shoes to Fill (2017): Elderly & Intergenerational; Civic & Volunteer Engagement Kaylie created her project to show residents at Harrison’s Crossing Health Campus in Terre Haute, Indiana (where her grandfather had stayed) that people cared for them. She engaged the help of high school volunteers to collect donations and deliver packages filled with lotions, puzzle books, ornaments, and Christmas cards (made by local elementary school students).
