Scrambling eggs on a cast iron griddle

I've tried stick-free cookware, and eventually the nonstick surface goes away, and I'm left with a thin pan that sheds the nonstick surface. I keep going back to cast iron as the best, most durable stick-free surface. So my question is, am I doing the eggs right? Is the heat too hot? Should it take longer, should I stir during cooking? What are your tips, youtubers?
