Liberal MP Nicola Di Iorio hasn't been seen in Parliament since mid-September. In April, Di Iorio announced he would resign, but in September he posted on Facebook that he was reconsidering the move. He has been absent from the House of Commons since MPs returned on Sept. 17 and has defended his absence by saying he has been tasked by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau with specific duties away from the House.
