This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. At TEDxYouth@TheSchool, Kavin shared about his experience collaborating with an architect to offer design ideas for the transformation of classrooms and shared spaces at The School at Columbia University.

Kavin Chada is a 9th Grader at Avenues: The World School. In his 8th grade year at The School at Columbia University, he participated in an Architecture art elective. He always loved Architecture ever since he was second grade when he had some short lessons on it, so he was extremely exited to do this elective and doing something he really wanted to do. Now, Kavin is studying many things and enjoying learning, but his favorite subject is English. Someday he wishes to write a book and maybe intern at an Architecture firm.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
