http://www.ClassicalGuitarShed.com A quick video on ascending slurs, AKA hammer-ons. These are a must for guitarists, especially classical guitarists, and are one of the best workouts for building coordination, strength, and versatility. On the guitar, one note is played, then the left hand slams on another note, without the right hand playing again. The finger combinations discussed are: 1&2 2&3 3&4 1&3 2&4 1&4 Remember to keep a "C" shape in your hand, with the thumb extended (not bent at the tip). Let your thumb move down in space so that it is always behind the fingers. Watch the pair to this video, on pull-offs, at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7t7ShrvM5o More videos on this channel, or visit http://www.ClassicalGuitarShed.com, my guitar blog.
