Note from the artist: I have been a drag performer for the last 17years and played with my rock and roll band "Yolanda and The Plastic Family" for many years at CBGB, also touring the country and putting out independent cds. I have won many performance and songwriting awards for being an out loud and proud QUEER Artist. I am in the GLBT Hall of fame for my performance and QUEER Activism work.In 2010, I decided to follow my hearts longing and go to Interfaith Seminary to awaken my spiritual commitment to myself and the planet. I transformed into Rev. Yolanda and began to sing Gospel Music again. I was born and raised in Alabama. I always wanted to be a music minister and now I am...in DRAG! Past and current jobs: I have a part time job in an art studio where I design and paint hand painted wallpaper.
