Good day, Human Latiosites!  As we continue our epic journey throughout the magnificent Hoenn region, we take a ride across the sea to Dewford Town to deliver a letter to Steven and do some training.  We come dangerously close to a most unfortunate situation as well.  We do have our first evolution, though.  Next time, we will hit Brawly's gym in Dewford Town. Skylocke Rules

1. If a Pokemon faints, it is considered dead and must be released or permanently deposited into a designated "death box" in the PC.

2. If a blackout/whiteout ever occurs, where the trainer loses a battle, the game is over regardless of whether or not there are still living Pokemon in the PC.

3. Only the first Pokemon in any given area can be caught, with the exception of any Pokemon found before you ever get any Pokeballs; a new floor in a cave, tower, etc. does not count as a new area.

4. If you already have the first Pokemon that you encounter in a new area, you can catch the next Pokemon that you encounter in that area (dupes clause).

5. Only Flying-Type Pokemon or Pokemon with the ability Levitate may be captured and used, with the exception of the starter.  Any first encounters in a new area do not count if the wild Pokemon does not fulfill this criteria; thus, encounters that cannot be caught are treated the same as those skipped by dupes clause.

6. Pokemon Center may not be used to heal your Pokemon.  NPCs who are scripted to heal your Pokemon may heal your Pokemon, though.  The PC cannot be used to heal Pokemon - it can only be used to change teams in dire conditions, such as HM requirements and deaths.

7. Each Poke Mart may be used only once.  Once you have used a particular Poke Mart, you may not use that particular Poke Mart again.

8. Healing items may not be used during battle.

9. There is a maximum of five encounters in a new area until a criteria-fulfilling Pokemon must be found.  If none of the first five encounters in a new area fulfill the criteria, being Flying-Type or having the ability Levitate, as well as not being duplicates, no encounter may be caught from that area.

10. Legendary Pokemon may only be used as a last resort.

11. All Pokemon must be nicknamed.
