Every Friday afternoon in front of the small mosque on the outskirts of Jartum, hundreds of men gather together to sing and dance for hours in order to spark a mystical contact with God. Fernando Bellver is a Spanish artist based in Madrid with a strong wanderlust. On this trip, Bellver meets important Sudanese artists who will open the doors of their houses and their works to show the contemporary Sudanese art scene. Finally, Bellver tours landmarks of the Nubian culture as the cities of Meroe, Dongola and Kerme or temples as Jebel Barkal with his notebook in which he will reflect the fascination that these places cause him.
