Mt. Badly bowl trail to the summit and beyond

This is yet another trail leading to the mount Baldy summit, passing a 1930's sierra club ski hut, an old gold mine, the spring at the beginning of the Makir flats water fall and finally the Baldy Bowl. The place skiing was born at mount Baldy. The trail is the most beautiful of all of them in my eyes but extremely difficult and should only be attempted by those who are in good shape. I summit Baldy, then down the east side and straight up the devils back bone. I then descend back down to the trail leading to the ski lift at the Baldy notch and then walk down the fire road passing the Mankir water fall and back to my car. A long days walk but saw some great sights and met some new friends, that's what it's all about, right? If you go, begin early and leave enough time to return before dark if your not staying and may the force be with you
