Never before have a used a lure quite like the Deps Buzzjet. It is a relatively new lure to the fishing scene and already it is proving itself as a reliable Murray cod fishing lure.  
 I was handing this lure back in April last year but have not had much of a chance to play with it and put it through it's paces as April is not the great time of the year for surface fishing in my area. 
The Deps Buzzjet is a surface lure making it's mark in the increasingly popular sport fishing world of surface fishing for Murray cod.  The lure itself is a bit of a cross between a surface popper and a wake bate in that it has a bib that points down, causing the lure to swim, yet has a little propeller at the back end of the lure which causes a small splash. 
 When time permits in the coming weeks I am hoping to film a decent lure review on the Deps Buzzjet. This is the best time of the year to go surface fishing for Murray cod. From now until the end of February we should see some terrific Murray cod surface fishing before the onset of autumn see's things start to slow down a little.
