As the sun sets on March 18th, 2010, I videotaped Amtrak #5, the westbound California Zephyr, as it passed through the main street grade crossing in Fairfield, Iowa, powered by P42's 199 and 141. Amtrak always "storms through" Fairfield going west. I believe the speed limit through here is 55 or so, but I'm pretty sure the train wasn't going that fast today. I've seen it go through faster!
