Film showing the behaviour in extreme weather of a group of snow buntings (Plectrophenax nivalis) high in the Scottish Cairngorms by Glenshee Ski Centre. These little birds are adapted for these strong winds and driving snow, lining up to face these blasts. Film includes slow motion clips showing birds in flight including one flying backwards to avoid a collision with other birds taking off.
