This video is from one of the many rehearsals and jamming sessions that went behind the making of the music video "Sunsets" by IndianRaga. (You can see the actual video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCGAl7Zkj_U)

Fellows were given the challenge of relating ragas from Indian classical music to complicated human emotions of loss, longing, nostalgia and love, and compose a traditional Indian classical music piece set to a new-age music video format. The idea was to create a complete 'experience' for the audience, and to go beyond the standard presentation format of this genre. This session took place at Navatman Studios in NYC.

Sunsets is part of a musical series by IndianRaga to create new-age compositions inspired by Indian classical music. The music is composed in traditional Indian classical style, and presented in a modern-day format.
