We were crossing the tracks to get off Scott AFB. I looked to my left and saw that the signal for 23.8 was red. So we went to Shiloh Station Road to wait for the train. When we arrived at Shiloh Station Road. I parked the truck in this open area. I heard the Conductor "NS 224 clear Scott Field detector" so my cousin and I got out the truck to wait for the train to come down the hill. Soon as it came down the hill it blew its horn. Soon as it blew its horn the ditchlights weren't flashing. My cousin and I thought it was a BNSF SD70ACe cause it was a far away distance, but when it got closer it was a UP SD70ACe leading. It was pretty kool seeing and ACe leading an NS train. The train was going slow because of heat restiction, so it was going at least 25mph. UP: SD70ACe #8646 NS: D9-40C #8869
