Although Jose has studied all periods of music-- from Baroque to Contemporary-- his favorite period both to study and perform is the Romantic period, as exemplified by his current, Chopin-dominant repertoire. Aside from his piano career, Jose is also a performing magician, a nationally ranked Extemporaneous Speaker, and a volunteer for Cleveland Clinic Florida. Jose is attending Stanford University in the fall.
