Heitor Villa-Lobos conducts the Violincello Society in this 1958 recording of Bach's Prelude No. 22 in B-flat minor, BWV 867, from Book 1 of the Well Tempered Clavier.  Villa-Lobos transcribed this work (as well as several others from Book 1 of the WTC) for what the LP jacket describes as an "orchestra of cellos."  

I created this video from the LP you can see above, issued in 1959 on the Everest label, serial number LPBR-6024.

I have appended to the video some of the explanatory notes from the reverse side of the LP jacket; including a discussion of the origins of and details about the Violincello Society.
