Destiny - How to NOT lose heavy ammo when you die

Did you know that losing heavy ammo when you die is in-fact a bug and not intended? Yep, a lot of people don't realize this. If you are wearing the raid boots or other gear that gives you "Additional heavy ammo" then this bug becomes present. If you switch to different boots or different gear and kill yourself, you'll notice you won't lose any ammo! BTW, this also works for things like Voidfang Vestments which buff special weapon ammo. When you die, you'll lose special ammo but if you switch to a different chest piece you'll see you won't lose ammo. Also, if you have gear which buffs a specific type of gun, such as "Carry additional sniper ammo" this bug doesn't happen. It only happens with generic "heavy" or "special" ammo gear. So if you are raiding or performing other activities where you don't want to lose ammo, simply switch to some different gear, kill yourself or watch the cut scene, and then switch back to maintain all of your precious heavy ammo.
