Megabox is here, and this could completely revolutionize the music industry as we know it. If it goes as planned it could have an even bigger impact than iTunes. But it still hasn't launched, though it's said that 90% of coding is finished. Megabox is Kim Dotcom's newest baby, which comes not too long after the death of Megaupload. But Megabox plan to do things legally this time, and shake everything up, sort of like a "screw you" to record labels. Known artists rumored to have signed up already for Megabox are Will.i.am, The Black Keys, Two Fingers, and Rusko. It could be a complete flop, and an over hype for all we know, but with the huge impact it CAN cause, we should all keep an eye on this. Especially bloggers and Youtubers, because this could potentially affect us in an enormous way, depending on how many people join.

It does sound super interesting, the only thing that worries me is Megakey, but we'll see on future updates if it's as horrible as it sounds. Keep in mind that I'm completely against using Ad Block, and Megakey sound to be pretty much that. Only that instead of preventing the creators from making money, Megakey actually TAKES that money away.

But what do you think? Are you a fan of Ad Block? Will you join Megabox? Do you think this will revolutionize the music industry?

I'll probably join it depending on what Megakey actually turns out to be.
