This Malachite Kingfisher (Alcedo cristata) was seen at Lake Panic Bird Hide in the Kruger National Park, near Skukuza. Malachite kingfishers are common across sub-Saharan Africa which means they are common in all of the countries south of the Sahara desert, all the way down to South Africa.
