I actually wanted the game to go on longer which is why I was talking about not getting captain so early, but I suppose its fine anyways since gold mode is supposed to be fast-paced. If I wanted the game to go a little longer, I could have just gotten 5 goldmines for a round and not upgrade any of my priests to buff our captain.
